Every offer counted here was posted in a public Berlin Telegram group in the last seven days, and counted once even if it went up in five groups at the same time. Pick a neighbourhood for the asking rents and what the market there is actually like.

Why neighbourhood matters more here than on the portals
A Zwischenmiete is short. You are not choosing where to live for five years, you are choosing where to be for three months — which makes the commute, the tram at midnight and the price gap between two neighbouring Kieze the whole decision. Berlin’s gaps are large: the same room can differ by two hundred euros a month between Wedding and Prenzlauer Berg, twenty minutes apart on the U2.
The other reason is supply. Sublets cluster hard. Roughly half of everything posted in the groups is in four districts, and a filter set to one quiet neighbourhood is a feed that stays empty for a fortnight. If you are working to a deadline, pick a busy Kiez and one or two next to it rather than the single one you had in mind.
