Remove a listing

If you advertised a flat or a room in a public Telegram group or on a public listing website, it may have been picked up by this site. If you would rather it were not here, we will take it out. You do not have to give a reason and you do not have to prove anything to us.

What to send

Email hello@berlinflats.net with enough to identify the post:

• a link to it on this site, if you have one, or
• the group or website you posted in, roughly when, and a line or two of the text.

We reply to every one, and we remove it — every copy of it we are holding, and the photos with it. In practice that is same-day; the outside limit we hold ourselves to is the month the GDPR allows.

One thing we cannot promise

Removing a post is not a block on you. If the same flat is advertised again in a group or on a site we read, it arrives as a new post and will be picked up like any other. Tell us and we will remove that one too.

What we store about people who posted a flat — and, separately, about people who signed up here — is set out in the privacy policy. That page also covers the other rights you have over it: a copy of it, a correction, or an objection to us holding it at all. If you have an account here and want the whole thing gone, that is a button in your settings, not an email.
