What you are actually paying for
The listings themselves are free and public — they are posted in Telegram groups anyone can join. What costs money is reading them. There are dozens of groups, they run at all hours in three languages, and the good rooms are gone within a day of posting.
So the €10 buys three things. A scraper that reads every group hourly and pulls each post apart into neighbourhood, rent, dates and flat type. Your own hard filters applied to that the moment something lands. And a language model that reads each new listing against a paragraph you wrote about what you want, and sorts your feed so the ones worth your evening are at the top.
Roughly: if it saves you one evening a month, it has paid for itself several times over. If it finds you the flat, the comparison is with a Berlin agency fee, which is two months’ rent.
What it does not include
We do not message posters for you, and we will not. Berlin sublets go to whoever writes the best message first, and an obviously automated one is how you get ignored. You get the poster’s Telegram handle and you write to them yourself.
We are also not a letting agent, do not hold deposits, do not verify posters and are not party to any agreement you reach. Read the guide to not getting scammed before you send anyone money — the most common Berlin sublet fraud is a deposit paid before a viewing, and no amount of filtering catches that for you.
Billing, plainly
- Card details up front. Nothing is charged during the trial.
- After 7 days, €10 a month until you cancel.
- Cancel from your settings in two clicks. It stops the next charge and leaves your access running until the end of the period you already paid for.
- Deleting your account removes your email, filters and notes, and cancels the subscription first.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
Questions
Where do the listings come from?
Public Berlin housing and sublet groups on Telegram — the ones where Zwischenmiete offers actually get posted. We read the offers, not the people looking, and we don’t post anything ourselves.
Do you contact landlords for me?
No. You see the poster’s Telegram handle and message them yourself, in your own words. Berlin sublets go to whoever writes a good message first, and that is not something worth automating.
How fast do new listings show up?
The scraper runs hourly. If you’ve left the morning digest on, you’ll also get the five best matches from the past week at 08:00 Berlin time.
What does the “about you” text do?
It’s the part your filters can’t express — “quiet, works from home, no interest in a party flat”. A language model reads each new listing against it and sorts your feed accordingly. Leave it empty and the feed is simply newest first; nothing is hidden either way.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from your settings, in two clicks. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves your access running to the end of the period you already paid for. You can also delete your account outright, which removes your email, filters and notes.
