Prenzlauer Berg, for a subletter
Quieter, greener and older than the districts south of the river. Fewer party WGs and more whole flats let by families away for a few months, which pushes the median ask up and the number of posts down. Worth watching if you want a place to work from rather than a place to go out from. The stock around Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz is the most expensive; Prenzlauer Allee eastwards is cheaper.
Getting one
