Prenzlauer Berg, for a subletter
Quieter, leafier, and older than the districts south of the river. Fewer party-flat WGs and more whole flats let by families away for a few months, which pushes the median ask up and the number of posts down. Worth watching if you want a place to work from rather than a place to be twenty-three in. The stock around Helmholtzplatz and Kollwitzplatz is the dearest; Prenzlauer Allee eastwards is not.
Getting one
